Our Upcoming Vision Trip in Honduras
One of the winding, dirt roads walked from one small village to another.

In a few weeks we will be flying down to Honduras to pray for guidance and vision in future ministry endeavors in Gracias, Lempira, Honduras.
I lived for 5 years in Gracias where I served with another ministry and met my wife, Abigail. During my time there I volunteered at a local private school, helped organize and pass along leadership of a youth group in a local church, and the main thing I did was work with church leaders in the mountain villages near Gracias. We also brought church groups to visit the villages, and that is where I met my wife who worked at the airport.
We moved to Texas in July of 2023 and God has used our time here to deepen our faith, relationship, and prepare us for our return to Honduras (along with our 4-month-old baby Tailah). We are certain that God is calling us back to serve in Honduras again with the Lenca people, and He has already revealed a couple of the things He wants us to do. I will share them with you all here, but I ask something from you. Would you pray with us as we seek the Lord and discern what other paths of ministry He wants for us to journey in Honduras?
We know God is calling us to pour into the village churches.
While many missionaries are sent to plant churches, where we are going there is no shortage of churches. However, more than 90% of the village churches have just formed and are led by their very first preacher. Our goal is not to take over the churches or build a new one where it is unneeded, rather we plan to encourage and empower the leaders and churches that are already there. THe people have enourmous faith, but need help feeling equipped to share the Gospel. We will not be taking the Gospel to an unreached people group, but we will be empowering a people to share the Gospel themselves and develop into healthy churches. This will take consistency, time, and loving direction, but we are more than ready to go where God leads!
We know God is calling us to teach English classes to youth from the public school in Gracias.
English can help Hondurans have an edge in their search for work, or even open a world of opportunity that otherwise would not be available. Not only does it appeal to the youth, but it is an entryway into Gospel conversations and discipleship opportunities.
We know God is calling us to disciple Hondurans to disciple Hondurans.
Our time serving in Honduras helped us have a real understanding of what they need spiritually. Many feel unqualified and not-good-enough to disciple others, and this even applies to some of the church leaders! We will help churches learn about the importance of discipleship, provide them with resources (mainly the Bible itself) to help them make disciples, and we will also be making disciples ourselves in the community around us.
This is where we can use your prayers!
We have those things on our hearts, but there are so many opportunities available in Gracias and throughout Honduras. Please pray with us to hear God’s guidance so that we can say “Yes” to what He wants us to do and “No” to the things He doesn’t. We refuse to be a ministry that becomes so busy that we burnout or are “too busy” to stop and follow the calls of the Spirit. Your prayers are welcomed and your support needed!
